Senior Solutions of Pinellas County News
On March 9th, Senior Solutions of Pinellas County met with the Clearwater Parkinson's Support Group to present "Care Giving - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The realities of care giving were discussed with the group of twenty plus members who attended.
Jane presented the Group with a letter of recognition for the work they do from the Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research. The letter indicated the importance of Parkinson's Support Groups like this one.
The Foundation itself does not sponsor informational support groups so that monies they receive can be targeted towards "high impact opportunities that focus on priority areas of Parkinson's research". The mission of national Parkinson's support groups like the Clearwater Chapter, is to provide educational information about the Disease and its process. By doing so, the Groups are providing a much needed community resource to those who suffer from Parkinson's, their loved ones, and their care givers.
Letter of recognition is Received by Jane from the Coordinator
of the Clearwater Chapter of the Parkinson's Support Group.
